Last year, the Final Fantasy XI podcast community raised over $11,000 to help fund pediatric cancer research for the Texas Children’s Hospital as part of Sarcastic Gamers Extra Life gaming marathon.
Several websites including Limit Break Radio, Level Down, and Pet Food Alpha, hosted a 24 hour webcast and gave access to those who donated. The webcast was a huge success and Aniero from Limit Break Radio has again taken up the initiative to plan something even more exciting for this years event!
If you’re interested in taking part this year, make sure to sign up for a team or make your own! There are already teams created for Limit Break Radio and Pet Food Alpha. Then grab your energy drinks and chips and get ready to play games for 24 hours starting October 17th!
