Today begins advanced sales for the first of the battle area add-ons Vision of Abyssea. \(^o^)/
There will be 3 new maps, over 30 new quests, over 100 new monsters and over 100 new pieces of equipment!
These battle contents are for the brave and over level 75 crowd!
I hope you get really fired up over this stuff ^^. The level cap will also be raised with the next version update (scheduled for 6/22 in Japan) which means you’ll be able to surpass the limits of just how strong you can be.

this looks awsome but just re useing old areas kinda sucks tho
5 pieces of equipment per artifact set * 20 jobs = 100 new pieces of equipment. And if I recall correctly, the development team said that all of the AF3 would be available even if you purchased only one Abyssea add-on, so logically they would all be added upon the first one being released. Add the weapons that make their wielders look like they’re absolutely compensating for something, and you’ve reached the “over 100″ mark.
Color me impressed if they can repeat that claim for Scars and then Heroes of Abyssea.

i wonder if there gona call the zones things like “Konstant Highlands [S]” or something similar or total new names
i also want to know if those giant red mandys can be charmed….
It’s actually not safe to assume that the AF3 is going to be available with the June update.
We don’t know what level AF3 is going to be yet. However, I would not be surprised if it is level 90+ armor that won’t be added until at least the December update.
We know you’ll only need one Abyssea expansion to get AF3, but that’s all we know for certain yet.
