
When the new synergy and evolith system was introduced awhile back I can remember being excited up until the part where it was discovered that players would have to have skills in a certain craft already and that Synergy would be used on top of that existing skill. Since then, I have been a bit reluctant to try messing with that furnace. However, more recently I’ve been tinkering with this new system and found that it may look more difficult than it actually is.

What’s this? A magazine interview with Final Fantasy XI Planner Yoji Fujito? And… it’s in English!? It’s no secret that magazines in Japan have been getting the scoop on a lot of Final Fantasy information over the past eight years, however it looks like some of that information may finally be coming stateside in Beckett Massive Online Gamer.
In one of their newer issues (not the most current, which we’ve been informed mentions Pet Food Alpha and the podcast tour!) they sit down and talk with Yoji Fujito, who some might recognize as the man behind Moblin Maze Mongers. It’s no surprise to learn that he’s also involved the Synergy and Evolith systems as well!

There is quite a lot that you can do with the new crafting system that was implemented during the last version update. We’re aware that many people are confused about this system or have questions.
